Accounts and Tax Senior Annual Salary: £40,000-£45,000Location: Finchley, North LondonJob Type: Full-time, Office-BasedJoin our team as an Accounts and Tax Senior and be part of a growing firm with a clear path for progression. This role is ideal for someone with substantial UK practice experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with the firm and manage a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.Day-to-day of the role:Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, ensuring all financial reports and tax compliance are handled efficiently.Oversee accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT compliance.Utilise Xero and Iris for bookkeeping and financial reporting.Provide advisory services and manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.Support the Directors in strategic practice growth initiatives.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years'' experience in a UK practice environment.ACA or ACCA part qualified or finalist/QBE (Qualified is a bonus!)Proficient in Xero, Iris, and knowledgeable across various tax disciplines.Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.Ability to start immediately or at short notice is highly advantageous.Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for career progression within the firm.Support for professional ..... full job details .....
