Senior Accountant Office-Based Essex Up to £50,000 per annum Full-Time Permanent Reed Accountancy Practice are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing accountancy practice for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional looking to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients while developing their leadership and client management skills within a supportive environment. The Role As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of a first-class service. You will work closely with clients, review work prepared by junior team members, and support the ongoing development of less experienced colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of limited company, sole trader and partnership clients Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns Reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping work Preparing and reviewing management accounts Acting as the main point of contact for clients and responding to queries Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team Monitoring workflow to ensure deadlines are met Identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery Assisting with client onboarding and business development activities where required The Ideal Candidate To be considered for this role, ..... full job details .....
