This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who has built their career within a small or medium-sized practice environment and can hit the ground running with client work from day one.The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance and-ideally-some exposure to audit. The role is fully office-based, so applicants must be local to the area.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesProduce management accounts and financial reportsComplete corporation tax computations and self-assessment returnsAssist with (or lead) audits if experiencedOversee bookkeeping and VAT return preparation/reviewLiaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing supportWork independently with minimal supervision and manage deadlines confidentlySupport junior team members where requiredCandidate RequirementsQualified, part-qualified or qualified-by-experienceStrong background in a small/medium-sized practice is essentialAbility to work independently and adapt quickly - must be able to hit the ground runningExperience across ..... full job details .....
