An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounts Reviewer to join a well-established company Job Type: Part-time, estimated 10-15 hours per week Working Arrangement: Office-based Employment Status: Self-employed Salary: 19-22 per hour Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience) Location: Croydon About The Company: The Company is an established and professional accountancy firm based in Croydon seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the team on a part-time, self-employed basis. About The Role: This position is primarily focused on reviewing accounts preparation work completed by junior team members and ensuring that all assignments meet professional and technical standards. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing Accounts: Check limited company accounts, sole trader accounts, partnership accounts, VAT returns and CIS returns. Tax Compliance: Review corporate and personal tax computations. Quality Control: Spot errors, fix discrepancies, make corrections and ensure work meets UK accounting standards Supporting Staff: Offer brief guidance and feedback to junior accountants and bookkeepers. Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality across client work. Input data into software for Self-assessment tax returns Requirements: Minimum 5 years'' experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
