Senior Accountant

A client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Part-Time Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a temporary-permanent, fully remote position working 20-25 hours per week and paying up to 23.08 per hour depending on experience.Your key duties in this Senior Accountant role will include but are not limited to:Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for SME clientsPreparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and reporting packsPreparing sole trader accounts and self-assessment tax returnsReviewing balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets and loan/HP accountsProviding technical accounting and bookkeeping support to the wider teamManaging a portfolio of clients and building strong, long-term relationshipsActing as a key point of contact for clients, providing accounting advice and answering queriesSupporting clients with their wider business needs and helping them understand their financial informationSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:At least 3 years'' experience preparing statutory accounts, CT600s and SA100s within a UK accountancy practiceACCA, ACA, AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experienceStrong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with strong client relationship management skillsExperience using Xero and Excel; TaxCalc and Fathom experience would be advantageousSelf-motivated and able to manage your own workload independently in a fully ..... full job details .....
