Senior Accountant

We''re supporting a well?established organisation seeking a Senior Accountant to join their central Finance team based in Slough. This role offers broad exposure across management accounting, statutory reporting and commercial finance for a major London portfolio. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you''ll deliver accurate monthly accounts, maintain strong Balance Sheet control, support forecasting and budgeting, and partner closely with operational teams. You''ll also contribute to statutory accounts, audit support, and project work across the wider business.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentaryMaintain the General Ledger and post journals (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)Complete and review Balance Sheet reconciliationsMaintain the Fixed Asset register and support capex reportingPrepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditorsSupport accounting for acquisitions/disposalsBuild strong relationships across finance and operationsProvide cover during busy periods and support ad?hoc analysisWhat Success Looks LikeTimely, accurate management and statutory accountsClean, well?controlled Balance SheetsStrong cross?team collaborationContinuous process improvementCandidate ProfileACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years'' PQE in management accountingStrong technical grounding and end?to?end accounts experienceExcellent attention to detail and data interpretation skillsConfident self?starter with strong Excel ..... full job details .....
