Senior Accountant (German Speaking)

Accountant - German Speaking Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire Full-time, office-based Dynamic Infrastructure is a growing infrastructure company with long-term contracts and operations across the UK and Germany. We are seeking an experienced German-speaking Accountant to join our finance team and support the accounting, reporting and compliance requirements of our German operations. This role requires proven, hands-on experience in German accounting, alongside the ability to communicate confidently with German accountants, suppliers and project teams. Essential experience and knowledge Applicants must demonstrate: Fluent written and spoken German, including the ability to understand financial documents and discuss accounting and tax matters professionally. Previous experience working in an accounting role in Germany or directly managing accounts for a German business. A sound working knowledge of German commercial accounting requirements under the Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) and German generally accepted accounting principles. Practical knowledge of German VAT (Umsatzsteuer), including invoice requirements, input VAT, VAT reconciliations and the preparation of information for VAT returns. Experience maintaining purchase, sales and general ledgers, completing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
