Senior AccountantLocation: MidlandsSalary: £48,000 - £60,000Type: PermanentWorking pattern: Hybrid We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a successful and growing accountancy practice in the Midlands.This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who has built their career within practice and is ready to take the next step into a role with greater responsibility for review, technical accounting, client interaction and team development.The Role: Taking ownership of the review process, ensuring accounts and compliance work are accurate, complete and technically robust Working across a varied client base, from owner-managed businesses through to larger and consolidated groups Reviewing and challenging financial information, with a strong focus on statutory accounts and group consolidations Providing technical support on accounting matters and helping resolve more complex queries Acting as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and helping them understand their numbers Working closely with auditors and managing queries through to resolution Checking and developing the work of more junior accountants, helping them improve both technically and professionally Providing guidance to the wider team when more complex accounting issues arise Getting involved in advisory work and added-value projects where your experience can make an impact The role is primarily focused on statutory accounts and ..... full job details .....
