We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice looking for a Senior Accountant to support a diverse range of SME clients. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, giving you exposure to accounts preparation, tax compliance, VAT and client advisory work. The Role As a Senior Accountant, you''ll manage your own portfolio of clients, building strong relationships while ensuring accounts and tax work are delivered accurately and on time. ResponsibilitiesPreparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnershipsPreparing and submitting Corporation Tax and Self Assessment tax returnsPreparing and reviewing VAT returnsManaging a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectorsReviewing bookkeeping records and preparing management information where requiredAdvising clients on day-to-day accounting and tax mattersSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamLiaising with HMRC on behalf of clientsEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory deadlinesAbout YouPrevious experience working in an accountancy practice is essentialConfident preparing accounts from trial balance through to final accountsGood understanding of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and VATExperience ..... full job details .....
