JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant

ROLE TYPE: Full time, permanent. Office based.

LOCATION: Hertfordshire

HOURS/DAYS (per week): Mon-Fri, 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch), office-based

SALARY RANGE: £50,000 to £70,000 per annum (DOE)

NOTICE & PROBATION PERIODS: 6 months

BENEFITS/BONUSES/HOLIDAYS: 20 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays

JOB ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

A full time opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant (ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience), to join this close-knit team. The Ideal candidate should have solid accounts preparation experience of at least five years within a professional accountancy firm.

• Extensive knowledge of preparing accounts for Limited companies under FRS102,Companies Act 2006, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns.
• Preparation of Personal tax computations and returns.
• Good knowledge of CIS
• Experience of SRA and Property Mark (estate agent client money) would be of assistance.

ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Ideally 5 years'' experience working in Practice
• Good knowledge of IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Cashflow, and MS packages
• Ability to work to strict deadlines accurately
• ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
