Senior Accountant - Top 100 Practice Manchester (Hybrid 4-1)£35,000+ DOEButler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy practice in the recruitment of an Accounts Senior to join their friendly audit team to assist with the accounts. This opportunity would suit an ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist or qualified accountant with experience in a fast-paced practice environemnt and who is looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio. Working closely with the Accounts Director, you will prepare statutory accounts and tax returns, manage client relationships, and review the work of junior team members. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory year-end accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105Prepare corporation tax returns and directors personal tax returnsManage your own client portfolio, ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlinesMeet with clients to discuss accounts, financial records and resolve queriesReview work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and ensuring review points are clearedPrepare files and supporting reports for Accounts Director reviewMentor and support junior team members with their day-to-day developmentIdentify opportunities to introduce additional firm services where appropriateKey RequirementsACA or ACCA finalist or qualifiedPrevious experience within a UK accountancy practiceStrong experience preparing statutory accounts and tax returnsGood working knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 102 ..... full job details .....
