Senior Accountant Sudbury £40,000 - £50,000An established independent firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced practice accountant to join its friendly and supportive team in Sudbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing year-end accounts and building long-term client relationships, without the pressure of audit work or management responsibilities. You''ll become part of a collaborative practice that prides itself on delivering a personal, proactive service to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and individuals, where quality of work and client care are valued above targets.Role ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.Liaise directly with clients to obtain accounting records and resolve queries.Ensure accounts are prepared accurately and in line with current accounting standards.Work closely with managers and partners to deliver a high-quality client service.Provide guidance and support to junior members of the accounts team when they require assistance.Maintain strong client relationships through professional, responsive communication.Manage your workload to meet deadlines across multiple client assignments.Personal RequirementsPrevious experience working within a UK accountancy practice.Strong experience preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.Comfortable working independently while supporting junior colleagues on technical ..... full job details .....
