You will support clients through compliant financial management, statutory reporting, taxation requirements, and ongoing advisory, taking over key responsibilities in a restructured team following internal progression. This role requires strong technical accounting capability across accounts, tax, and payroll, combined with excellent communication skills and a flexible, all-round approach.Senior Accountant Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory annual accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs.Prepare and submit personal tax returns (self-assessments), corporation tax, and quarterly VAT returns within strict deadlines.Process client payroll using specialised software (MoneySoft, Q-TAC, etc.) or assist/learn payroll systems as required.Utilise accounts preparation software proficiently, specifically TaxCalc and QuickBooks.Build and maintain trusted professional relationships with clients, providing prompt support and advice on accounting ..... full job details .....
