Senior Accountant

Our client is a large Accountancy practice based in smaller team within Luton and they are currently seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior. The Accounts and Audit Senior position within the company represents an excellent opportunity for career progression. Ideally, you''ll be ACCA or ACA qualified or close to with a minimum of three years of accountancy practice experience working in an audit role. The role will predominantly focus on leading and delivering statutory year end accounts services to a broad portfolio of clients with 70% accounts and 30% audit split. The role is reporting to the Director and is offering up to 55,000, 25 days holiday, alongside progression routes and a number of other benefits Accounts and Audit Senior Job OverviewManaging a portfolio of account clients, ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns.Preparing year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies in line with accounting standards.Leading client audits through to Partner sign-off, with a focus on governance, internal controls, and financial accuracy.Preparing and reviewing audit working papers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Developing strong client relationships and attending client meetings.Accounts and Audit Senior Job RequirementsACA or ACCA part qualified preferablyExperience working within a practice carrying out audit work is essentialBroad background and experience of accounts, tax and auditFull UK ..... full job details .....
