The firm prides itself on its friendly, professional approach and long-standing client relationships.The Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, providing technical support, and assisting with staff supervision and client advisory work.Key Responsibilities:Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole tradersPreparing management accounts, VAT returns, and bookkeeping as requiredReviewing accounts prepared by junior team members and providing mentoring or guidanceManaging client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day queriesSupporting clients with business and tax planning advice where appropriateLiaising with HMRC and other external bodies on behalf of clientsEnsuring work is completed accurately and within deadlinesAssisting partners with ad-hoc projects and client advisory workThe Ideal Candidate:AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or qualified by experience)Minimum 3-5 years'' experience in an accountancy practiceConfident in preparing and reviewing accounts for a wide range of ..... full job details .....
