Autumnal Partners are working exclusively with a leading financial services firm based in the City to appoint a Senior Accountant to their London team on a 12 month FTC which could go permanent.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and coordination of statutory accounts across multiple jurisdictions.

Manage the end-to-end audit process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently.

Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and Australian GAAP.

Support automation and process improvement initiatives within finance.

Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.

Apply project management tools to improve efficiency and accountability.

Qualifications

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Strong experience in multi-jurisdiction financial reporting (UK, US and Australian GAAP).

Proven track record in delivering audits to tight deadlines.

Exposure to process automation and finance systems improvements.

Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

High attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable: Experience with SunSystems.
