The successful tutor will have experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND and/or SEMH needs and be confident adapting their teaching approach to meet individual learning, emotional and behavioural needs. Experience supporting children who may struggle with emotional regulation, engagement or traditional learning environments would be highly desirable. The role will focus on building a positive relationship with the learner, supporting academic progress and helping them develop confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards education. A calm, consistent and nurturing approach will be essential. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.
