      <description>Location: Exeter | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of supportive schools across Exeter, and we are currently looking for an experienced SENDCo to join one of our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about inclusion and ensuring every pupil has access to the support they need to thrive.The successful SENDCo will play a key role in leading the school''s SEND provision, working closely with teachers, support staff, parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure high-quality support is in place for pupils with additional needs.The successful SENDCo will have:  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).The National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).Previous experience as a SENDCo or within a SEND leadership role.Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, EHCPs, and statutory processes.Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
