This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about special educational needs and disabilities, inclusive practice and improving outcomes for children and young people. The role As SENDCO, you will lead and develop the school''s provision for pupils with SEND, working closely with pupils, families, teachers, support staff, external professionals and the wider leadership team. You will: Lead and coordinate the school''s SEND provision in line with statutory requirements and best practice. Work closely with teachers to ensure high-quality, inclusive teaching and appropriate support for pupils with SEND. Oversee the identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils'' additional needs. Coordinate and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes and annual reviews. Develop positive and effective relationships with parents and carers. Work collaboratively with external agencies and specialist professionals. Support and develop staff knowledge and confidence in meeting a wide range of SEND needs.
