This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to play a key role in supporting children with additional needs during the crucial early years of their education.Working three days per week from November, you will lead the nursery''s SEND provision, ensuring every child receives the appropriate support to thrive in a nurturing and engaging environment.The RoleLead and coordinate SEND provision across the nursery.Identify and assess children with emerging or identified additional needs.Develop, implement and review personalised support plans and targets.Work closely with practitioners, parents, external agencies and local authority professionals.Ensure EHCP applications, reviews and SEND documentation are completed to a high standard.Provide guidance and support to nursery staff to promote inclusive practice.Monitor children''s progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.Ensure the nursery remains compliant with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant statutory guidance.The Ideal CandidateHolds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) ..... full job details .....
