Social network you want to login/join with:Leader Group is delighted to partner with a dynamic and nurturing independent special school in Worksop to recruit an enthusiastic and committed SENDCo.This is a full-time permanent role, ideal for an experienced education professional passionate about inclusive practice and transformational leadership.Position: SENDCoLocation: WorksopSalary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)Start Date: September 2025The successful candidate will:Support the strategic development of SEND provision across the schoolOversee the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and coordinate targeted provision for pupils with SEN or disabilitiesConduct Annual, Interim, and Emergency Reviews of EHCPs in line with the SEND Code of PracticeLead on interventions to support pupils'' academic, social, and emotional progressProvide professional guidance to staff and work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agenciesMonitor and quality assure Teaching and Learning with a focus on SENDOversee Looked After Children (LAC) and attend/review PEP meetingsAdvise on the effective use of the SEND budget and resourcesLine manage and deploy staff to maximise the impact of SEND provisionChampion inclusion and ensure all pupils access a broad, balanced, and ambitious curriculumRequirements:Hold QTS or QTLSProven leadership experience within a school settingA passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learnersStrong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practiceExcellent communication and organisational skillsCommitment to ongoing professional developmentEnhanced NEST pension schemeStaff referral bonusEnhanced maternity and paternity payAccess to Blue Light Discount CardFully funded training and qualificationsEnhanced pay scales based on experience and qualificationsEmployee wellbeing app and discount benefitsLife assuranceAbout the School:At our client''s school, children come first.
