Here at Aspire People, we are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced SENDCO looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. We are seeking a committed and proactive Full-Time SENDCO to join a well-established SEN School in Northampton, starting September 2025.

The Role:
As SENDCO, you will lead on all aspects of SEND provision across the school. You will play a key strategic role in developing inclusive practices, ensuring compliance with EHCPs, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching. This is a full-time, leadership-level position, with responsibility for safeguarding, liaison with external agencies, and promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning for SEND pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the SEND provision across the school
* Lead and coordinate the implementation of EHCPs and provision mapping
* Provide guidance, support, and training to teaching and support staff
* Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure effective communication and support
* Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
* Play a key role in the school''s safeguarding and inclusion policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A qualified teacher status (QTS)
* The National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
* Significant experience working with children with a range of SEND needs
* Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A genuine passion for inclusive education
