      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;180 - &amp;pound;230/day | Type: Temporary | SENDCo - Primary School | Handsworth | September Start   CPSS are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and dedicated  SENDCo  on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in  Handsworth . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs, This post starts in September 2026 and is flexible for 2 days per week.   The successful candidate will:   Lead and manage the school''s SEND provision, ensuring pupils receive high-quality support.  Work collaboratively with the Headteacher, staff, parents, governors and external agencies to promote positive outcomes for all pupils.  Oversee the identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND.  Ensure the school meets its statutory responsibilities in line with the SEND Code of Practice.  Support and develop staff through training, advice and guidance to promote inclusive teaching practices.   The ideal candidate will:   Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
