This is an in-person tutoring opportunity and is not an online role.The role involves providing personalised educational support to learners who may have additional needs and benefit from a flexible, individualised approach to education. You will build positive and trusting relationships with learners, adapt your teaching to meet their individual needs and help them develop their confidence, engagement and independence.The successful tutor will be able to create engaging and accessible learning experiences while remaining flexible to each learner''s pace, interests, abilities and needs. Experience supporting young people with SEND, SEMH needs, or those who have found mainstream education challenging would be particularly beneficial.The Role May InvolveDelivering personalised one-to-one or small-group tuitionSupporting learners across relevant curriculum subjects, depending on experiencePlanning engaging, accessible and appropriately challenging learning activitiesAdapting teaching approaches to suit individual abilities, learning needs and levels of engagementCreating a calm, positive and supportive learning environmentHelping learners develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards educationSupporting the development of ..... full job details .....
