1:1 SEND Tutors Required - DerbyshireSpencer Clarke Tutors is working very closely with Derbyshire Local Authority and is looking to recruit 1:1 tutors to support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Tutors will deliver individualised tuition to learners who may be out of mainstream education or require additional support. Tuition will take place either in the child''s home or in a local community setting, such as a library. Key responsibilities:Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in line with the learner''s needsSupport engagement, confidence, and educational progressAdapt teaching approaches for SEND and SEMH learnersProvide feedback and basic progress updatesRequirements:Proven experience working with learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs is essentialQTS is desirable but not essentialStrong behaviour management and communication skillsAbility to work independently and adapt sessions as requiredAdditional information:Flexible hours to suit availabilitySessions typically take place during the school dayOngoing support provided by Spencer Clarke TutorsThis role is ideal for teachers, tutors, or education professionals seeking flexible work while making a positive impact on vulnerable learners. ..... full job details .....
