SEND Tutor (1:1 and Small Group Support)Location: StockportPay: £30-£35 per hour (depending on experience)We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This role involves delivering high-quality support either on a 1:1 basis or within small groups of up to six students, helping learners to build confidence, develop key skills, and reach their full potential.The RoleAs a SEND Tutor, you will:Provide tailored educational support to students with a range of SEND needsDeliver engaging, structured sessions aligned with individual learning plansAdapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilitiesSupport students academically, socially, and emotionallyWork independently while maintaining clear communication with parents, carers, and professionals where requiredEssential RequirementsProven experience working with children or young people with SEND (essential)Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategiesPatience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needsAbility to tutor 1:1 and manage small groups (up to 6 students) effectivelyRelevant qualifications or tutoring/teaching experience (desirable)Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate of £30-£35 per hourFlexible working arrangementsRewarding work making a genuine difference to students'' livesSupportive and professional ..... full job details .....
