Job Description We''re looking for a SEND Travel Broker for a local government client in Enfield, Greater London. To play a key role in coordinating and managing travel arrangements for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The role ensures that transport solutions are safe, appropriate, and tailored to individual needs, while also supporting families and educational settings in navigating available travel options. Core responsibilities include assessing travel requirements, liaising with transport providers, completing and reviewing risk assessments, resolving issues that arise during travel, and ensuring compliance with statutory duties under SEND transport guidance. The Travel Broker helps maintain a reliable, responsive service that safeguards young people and supports their access to education. Responsibilities To facilitate the setting up of Travel Assistance for children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. To liaise with internal and external professionals to ensure all parties are kept informed of relevant information. Deliver an effective, efficient, and customer-focused service in line with Travel Assistance Policy, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practice and its links to related statutory provisions.
