Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Secondary School | Lambeth | September Start
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential in a positive school environment.
The Role
As an LSA, you will work alongside teachers and the SEN team to support students with a range of additional learning needs, both in class and through small group or one-to-one interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom, one-to-one, and small group support.
- Assist students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
- Support teachers in delivering inclusive lessons.
- Help create a safe and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
