SEND Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work full time at an excellent school in Hull, starting as soon as possible, and lasting until at least Christmas 2026, with the potential to extend longer, or even become permanent. This role will pay between 95 and 110 per day depending on experience and qualifications. The RolePosition: Teaching AssistantLocation: HullStart date: As soon as possibleHours: Full Time - 8:30 - 3:30Pay: 90 to 110 Key ResponsibilitiesAs a SEND Teaching Assistant your duties will include:Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Support pupils with their learning and development in line with individual education plans (IEPs), support plans and EHCP outcomes.Adapt and differentiate learning activities to meet individual pupils'' needs and abilities.Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy and other areas of the curriculum.Promote pupils'' independence, confidence and self-esteem.Support pupils with communication and interaction difficulties, including those with speech, language and communication needs.Assist pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, using appropriate strategies to promote positive behaviour.Encourage positive relationships and inclusion within the classroom and wider school ..... full job details .....
