1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Stockport)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Stockport. This rewarding role involves working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who has complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a real difference in a child''s educational journey.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with complex SEND requirements
• Implementing tailored strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional needs
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support
• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting the pupil''s social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with SEND pupils in a primary school setting
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Team Teach training (essential)
• A proactive and adaptable attitude
