Job Role: SEND Teaching Assistant. Location: Lightcliffe Academy, Halifax. Contract type: Long Term contract. Start Date: September 2026 or opportunities available ASAP. Your Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) both in and out of the classroom. Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning and intervention activities. Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals. Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement. Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
