Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in South Bristol that supports children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. The setting promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, develop positive relationships and achieve their individual goals.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant from September. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEMH and additional SEND needs, working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement with learning throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Team Teach training
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive and supportive relationships with pupils
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
