SEND Teaching Assistant Ealing Location: Ealing, West LondonStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-time, Long-termSalary: £90 £120 per day, depending on experienceTeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive specialist school in Ealing.The school supports children and young people with autism and a range of additional and complex learning needs. We are looking for SEND TAs who are patient, resilient and passionate about helping pupils develop their communication, independence and engagement with learning.The role will involve: Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC) and additional learning needsProviding 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting pupils with communication and interaction difficultiesHelping pupils with their social, emotional and sensory needsUsing visual communication and individualised strategies where appropriateSupporting positive behaviour and pupil engagementWorking closely with teachers, therapists and other SEND professionalsAssisting with personal care and physical needs where requiredCreating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience working with children or young people with SENDIdeally has experience with ASC, SLD, PMLD or complex needsIs calm, patient and confident supporting pupils with different communication needsIs comfortable providing personal care where requiredHas strong behaviour-management and communication skillsIs reliable ..... full job details .....
