SEND Primary Teaching Assistant Morpeth Immediate StartLong termFlexible working hours Salary: £100 per day depending on experience. I''m looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked within a SEND classroom.Ideally you will have experience supporting children with SEND including: Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate Learning DifficultiesA proven track record of supporting pupils with challenging behaviours in a school or alternative provision settingExperience implementing behaviour support strategies, de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour management approachesExperience working on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions to support learning, communication and social developmentStrong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to adapt support to meet individual learning and behavioural needsA patient, resilient and nurturing approach, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills If you have the above experience I''d love to speak with you to discuss further.
