TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Bromsgrove, supporting students from Reception through to Post 16. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, focusing on helping pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties to achieve their full potential through tailored support and strong pastoral care.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long-term, temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working across all age groups from 4 to 19, supporting students with autism, communication difficulties and additional learning needs, assisting the class teacher and adapting support strategies to meet individual requirements.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs
• Knowledge of autism, communication difficulties and complex learning needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude with a passion for supporting SEND learners
