Teach Now is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for an all-through special school in Barnet, supporting primary and secondary pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), including pupils with trauma-related needs.  The setting places relationships and predictable routines at the centre of learning. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who may find trust, transitions or classroom demands difficult. The role combines learning support with co-regulation, restorative conversations and practical help to re-engage with school life.  Key responsibilities  	 Support learning in class, through 1:1 work and in targeted small groups. 	 Follow individual support plans and use agreed de-escalation strategies. 	 Help pupils recognise emotions, access regulation breaks and return to learning. 	  Support transitions, break times and peer relationships with calm, consistent boundaries.
