SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) Are you a highly passionate and experienced SEND TA?Do you have extensive SEND experience, working with young people with complex needs?We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join an excellent specialist schools in Manchester. This is a TA position, offering support across the whole school on a 1:1 and small group intervention basis. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with a range of complex additional needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in their learning environment.SEND Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEND Provide flexible support across different classrooms and year groups as required Assist with personal care needs in a sensitive and respectful manner if needed Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement individualized learning plans Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular reviews and meetings Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil independence and confidenceSEND Teaching Assistant - About you: A flexible and adaptable team player, willing to work across the whole school Experience supporting children with a variety of additional needs is required Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A proactive and patient approach to supporting learning and behaviour Previous ..... full job details .....
