About the Role

The SEND Teaching Assistant role in Spennymoor is a temporary position paying £94.95 daily. Working within a local school, you will provide dedicated 1-2-1 support to children with additional needs. This role requires a recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification alongside recent school experience. Your responsibilities will involve adapting learning materials, assisting with personal care, and implementing individual education plans. The position suits candidates seeking flexible assignments, with full and part-time options available. Short-term contracts for those with other commitments or longer placements are offered. Immediate registration is possible for qualified applicants.

The Education Network is currently looking to recruit a qualified teaching assistant to work with children with additional needs for one of our partner schools in Spennymoor.
The successful candidate must have experience working 1-2-1 with children with SEND.
Candidates must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification and have recent school experience.
