SEND Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary SEND school in Warwick. This is a full-time, ongoing position with a strong likelihood of lasting for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in their education and personal development.The successful candidate will be working closely with pupils across the primary age range who have a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will provide tailored support to help students access learning, develop communication and social skills, and achieve their individual educational and personal targets. Working alongside the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.Applicants must have previous experience supporting children or young people with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour within an educational or similar setting. You should be confident using a calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management, with the ability to build positive relationships and respond effectively to a range of individual needs.
