SEND Teaching AssistantLocation: BuryPay: 110 per day, depending on experienceContract: Full-time, temporary ongoingStart Date: ASAP Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?We''re working with a welcoming SEN school in Bury that is looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide valuable support to pupils with additional needs.The RoleProvide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SENSupport children with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties and learning difficultiesHelp pupils engage with learning and develop their confidence and independenceSupport positive behaviour and emotional regulationWork closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised supportAssist with classroom activities and adapted learningBuild positive, trusting relationships with pupilsThe Ideal CandidatePrevious experience working with children or young people with SENA calm, patient and nurturing approachConfident supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basisGood understanding of behaviour management and safeguardingStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA relevant TA/SEN qualification is desirable but not essentialThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to children''s education and wellbeing while gaining further experience within a supportive school environment.Interested?Send your ..... full job details .....
