Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) - Hounslow, West London

Role Overview
Position: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate (subject to vetting checks)
Location: Hounslow, West London
Pay: -100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week Mon to Fri, until July 2026
Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils across a range of year groups, from Reception to Year 6
- Delivering focused interventions to support pupil progress and attainment
- Providing tailored support for children with SEND
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils'' social and emotional development
- Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Adapting to different classroom needs and working flexibly across the school
- Supporting additional activities such as Breakfast Club and After School Clubs, where required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
- Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Have experience delivering small group or one-to-one interventions
- Be proactive, flexible, and able to use their initiative
- Have strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Be committed to helping children achieve their full potential
