SEND Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEND School Location: Harrow, North West London Start Date: ASAP Contract: Until the end of the academic year (with a strong likelihood of continuing into the new academic year)SANZA is working with a very popular and well-regarded secondary SEND school in Harrow, North West London, to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.This role is ideal for a skilled and compassionate practitioner with a strong background in supporting students with complex needs. The successful candidate will be supporting a female student in Year 11, who has a combination of learning needs, behaviour needs and epilepsy, with frequent seizures.The Role:Providing 1:1 and small-group support to a student with complex SENDSupporting emotional regulation and behaviour, particularly during challenging situationsWorking calmly, patiently and consistently to guide and reassure the studentResponding appropriately to seizures and health needsWorking closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals and support servicesThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have proven experience working with students with complex needs, ideally in a secondary or specialist settingBe calm, patient and confident in managing behaviour in a positive and supportive wayHold an up-to-date First Aid certificate (essential due to the student''s epilepsy)Be reliable, resilient and committed to inclusive educationBe available to start as soon as possibleIn Return, the ..... full job details .....
