SEND Teaching AssistantSalary: 90 - 110 per day / Pay to Scale (annum) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Location: East LondonRole Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in East London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of age groups in a nurturing and forward-thinking environment.As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide tailored support to students with SEND, including those with EHCPs and additional learning needs.Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies.Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive classroom environment.Support students'' social, emotional, and academic development through 1:1 and small group interventions.Promote independence and confidence in learners while ensuring their safety and well-being.Requirements:Previous experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.Strong understanding of strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other learning difficulties.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Ability to commute reliably to East London.What We Offer:A collaborative and ..... full job details .....
