Teaching Assistant (Sports Coaching Experience Welcome)Daily Rate: £90 - £110Location: CharltonJob Type: Full-timeStart Date: 2nd SeptemberWorking Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pmWe are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Abbeywood. This role is particularly suited to candidates who have experience in sports coaching, alongside a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.Day-to-day of the role:Assist in the delivery of tailored educational activities, focusing on both academic and physical development.Utilize sports and physical activities to engage students and support their emotional and social growth.Work closely with the lead teacher to implement educational plans and manage classroom activities.Support the individual needs of students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.Monitor and report on the progress of students, adapting strategies as needed to optimize learning.Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and understanding of SEMH needs.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in sports coaching or leading physical activities with children.Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, ideally within an SEMH setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle challenging ..... full job details .....
