We are currently working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Plymouth to recruit a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, complex learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.The Role:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to students, both in and out of the classroom. You will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SENDAssist in the delivery of personalised learning plansSupport students with communication, behaviour, and emotional regulationFoster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentCollaborate effectively with teaching staff and external professionalsRequirements:Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred)A patient, empathetic, and resilient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsA genuine passion for supporting children with additional ..... full job details .....
