SEND Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational SEN Schools in Hartlepool to start ASAP on a full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their progress and development inside and outside the classroom. About the School:The role is based in an inspirational SEN School in Hartlepool.The school supports pupils aged 5-16 and there are opportunities to support pupils across all year groups depending on your preference and specialism.The school has an outstanding supportive environment and Leadership Team. With staff cohesion being pivotal, allowing them to work as a Team within classrooms to provide the highest possible standard of support to pupils. Responsibilities:The role will involve supporting pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups.The school supports pupils with varying SEND and challenging behaviour, aged 5-16.
