As a SEND Teaching Assistant at this exceptional school, you will play a pivotal role in supporting pupils with a diverse range of special educational needs (SEN). You will work closely with class teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a nurturing, inclusive, and highly effective learning environment. Your focus will be on facilitating each student''s academic progress, personal development, and overall well-being. Responsibilities: Providing tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a variety of complex special educational needs. Assisting with the planning and implementation of differentiated learning activities, adapting strategies to meet individual pupil needs. Utilising and supporting specialist communication strategies. Implementing positive behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques, fostering emotional regulation and social skills.
