SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant - Shirley, Solihull
Monarch Education are currently working with an Infants School in the Shirley area of Solihull; to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This will be a regular Thursday role, 8.30am - 3.30pm until at least Christmas. It is important that you have experience with SEND and Interventions for this role.
Requirements of applicant:
- You Must have experience with Special Educational Needs for this role
- Experienced supporting children with SEND - especially Autism and Behaviour Difficulties
- Confident and experienced individual who is able to assess situations before acting on them
- Ideally you would hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Education for this role, however this is not essential
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver targets 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils'' academic and social development
- Provide tailored support to pupils in KS1 with high SEND Needs
- Ensure individual learning ande care plans are followed effectively
- Support pupils in developing positive behaviour, resilience and indepdence through consistent strategies
- Promoted the holistic development of every child
- Foster both educational progress and personal growth

Salary: -62.66 - -100 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
