SEND Teaching Assistant

We are partnered with a 2 form entry, mainstream school in Portsmouth who are now looking for an experienced SEND Teaching assistant for a new child joining the school. This school is a "Reading School" and strives for academic excellence, enriched with opportunities for personal development and success. They are now looking for someone who can develop a wonderful relationship with a year 5 child who has complex needs. 

What we''re looking for as a SEND Teaching Assistant:

• A commitment to supporting a year 5 child with diverse needs
• Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude
• Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential
• Experience working with challenging behaviour, either within education, healthcare, or other equivalent alternatives
• Right To Work in the UK, and currently resides in or close to Portsmouth
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to gain one

• Full Time 1:1 TA role
