SEND Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs and 1:1 SupportSpecialist and Mainstream Schools Full-Time and Long-Term OpportunitiesAspire People are recruiting experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with complex and additional needs across a range of school settings.We are looking for candidates with genuine professional experience who are confident providing consistent 1:1 support and adapting their approach to meet individual pupil needs.The Role: Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex SEND Supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties and learning needs Helping pupils access the curriculum through personalised strategies Supporting communication, social skills and independence Assisting with emotional regulation and positive behaviour Supporting sensory activities and structured routines Working closely with teaching and specialist support teams Supporting personal care where required Recording and feeding back on pupil progress and behaviourThe Ideal Candidate: Previous professional experience working with pupils with SEND Strong 1:1 support experience Experience within a specialist school, SEND provision or similar environment Confident supporting pupils with complex needs Experience with autism and communication needs is highly desirable Patient, consistent and adaptable approach Able to work as part of a wider multidisciplinary teamRelevant backgrounds may include: Specialist SEND schools Mainstream schools with specialist ..... full job details .....
